Jupiter and Saturn Elementary were recently awarded $5,000 each from Lowe’s Charitable and Educational Foundation.  The Toolbox for Education grant program awards public schools funding to benefit school improvement projects to K-12 public schools across the nation.  Saturn Elementary in Cocoa is using the funds for the development of an outdoor classroom which will include natural learning centers that are hands-on for children.  Jupiter Elementary in Palm Bay is creating an Early Sprout Gardening Project to build a garden for healthy living as well as a center to engage in hands-on science, math and language activities.
